Grand Canyon River Guides is a passionate association of folks who know and love the Grand Canyon like no other. Some are guides, many are not. Since 1988, GCRG has been here to watch out for the Canyon and to help the guides who work there, while making the river experience the best it can be, and having a great time along the way.

The American Cancer Society & Related Cancer Organizations

Whether through donations or specialty trips, Hatch River Expeditions contributes to the cancer community. We have participated and made donations to local events and fundraisers as wells as contributing to larger organizations. Cancer is something that affects us all whether directly or indirectly so we make an effort to be involved when opportunities arise.

Girl Scouts of America

Supporting the Girl Scouts of America for decades, all of our Hatch River Expeditions trips have Girl Scout cookies. A highlight to any picnic lunch, munch on shortbreads, thin mints or even samosa. Some traditions are meant to last forever.

Provides confidential access to mental and physical health care professionals and a network of support services designed to restore, promote, and celebrate the well-being of the Grand Canyon River Guiding Community.

The Grand Canyon Fund

The Grand Canyon Fund (formerly known as the Grand Canyon Conservation Fund) is a non-profit enterprise established by a group of Grand Canyon National Park’s licensed river outfitters. Each year, roughly 90% of all professionally outfitted river trip passengers donate $1 per day of their river trip to the Grand Canyon Fund.

Leave No Trace

The member-driven Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics teaches people of all ages how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly, and is the most widely accepted outdoor ethics program used on public lands. Hatch River Expeditions practice Leave No Trace ethics to help maintain the beauty of Grand Canyon for years to come.
